VIDEO: Fighting Cystic Fibrosis at Dartmouth

Not one to sit and wait for a cure, Sam Neff is participating in cystic fibrosis research as an undergraduate

Sam Neff ’21, diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF) when he was six months old, fights the lung disease every day by following a strict regimen, contributing to CF research in the Geisel School of Medicine’s Lung Biology Center, and participating in a clinical trial at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

“I’m so glad I get to be in a school where I’m not just encouraged to learn, but to actually participate in leading real change in the world,” says Neff.

Making big, strategic bets on discovery is a priority of The Call to Lead campaign. Dartmouth is already an acknowledged leader in CF research, and the campaign will provide the Lung Biology Center with the resources to do even more. You can help make breakthroughs in CF research possible.
