Global Health Research

The Arctic and Southern Hemisphere may have little in common at first glance. Yet these regions increasingly confront common challenges to health and wellbeing, including environmental change, conflict and migration, legacies of colonialism, and limited access to quality healthcare in remote, rural regions.  The challenges resulting from these global forces require new ways of approaching global health equity—models which Dartmouth has been pioneering through its multidisciplinary programs. Your gift will help Dartmouth researchers, in collaboration with its network of international partners stretching from the Arctic to the far reaches of the Southern Hemisphere, generate knowledge on common drivers of health and well-being and strengthen health care delivery in some of the world’s poorest regions.
