Hood Museum Expansion
The museum has reopened after two years of construction.
- Dartmouth's Distinct Educational Model
The Hood Museum of Art is one of the world’s most dynamic teaching museums, widely celebrated for the seamless integration of its collections into the Dartmouth educational experience. The museum exemplifies Dartmouth’s emphasis on experiential learning, giving students access to its 65,000-object collection and presenting more than 100 special programs, lectures, and gallery exhibitions each year—most of which are open to the public. Your gift to the Friends of the Hood supports all of these programs and the hands-on learning opportunities that are crucial to a Dartmouth education.
