The Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences champions Dartmouth's teacher-scholar model, where faculty are dedicated to excellence in their academic fields of study and to teaching and engaging with students. You can provide the resources needed to maintain this demanding model of education through an endowment that ensures the dean has adequate funding to advance Dartmouth’s academic mission through 41 departments and programs and the work of nearly 450 faculty members.
