For many domestic and international students with high financial need, being admitted to Dartmouth launches them on a path to leadership—but not one without challenges. The extraordinary circumstances we face today are affecting our high-need students in unprecedented ways. In response, Dartmouth has already stepped in to support the costs of travel and other daily expenses for these students and intends to triple funds available for emergencies and unforeseen burdens not met through Dartmouth financial aid, such as dental and medical costs, eyeglasses, living expenses during unpaid internships, professional attire for interviews, and graduate test-preparation fees. These funds will be managed and distributed by the Office of Student Affairs. Your generosity will help these students when they need it most.
